What You'll Do
John Deere Construction & Forestry, located in Dubuque, IA is seeking a _Hydraulics Product Verification and Validation (PV&V;) Engineer_ . The individual will be responsible for supporting the development of hydraulic and hydrostatic systems for construction and forestry equipment through all phases of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP). Responsibilities will include:
Plan and execute component, system and machine level tests to verify performance and durability of hydraulic and hydrostatic systems.
Collaborate with design engineers and supplier representatives to evaluate supplier tests conducted to verify component goals.
Collaborate with design engineers on quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with dynamic systems modeling engineers to gather data to improve mathematical models of vehicle hydraulic systems.
Analyze data and report test results to appropriate stakeholders.
Participate in regular team meetings.
Work will include machine level qualification and lab activity.
## Qualifications

We need a solid communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Additionally, we require:
Engineering experience through either internships or practical work experience.
Ability to balance multiple tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of fluid dynamics.
Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% (both domestic and internationally).
A strong candidate will also have:
Experience with hydraulics systems and components.
Ability to understand hydraulic schematics.
Experience with data collection and analysis.
Ability to operate Construction & Forestry equipment.
